Costume Department Volunteer- Long Beach, CA
August 2013- Present
I volunteer for the Long Beach Shakespeare Company, where I aid the costume designer in costume selection and crafting new costumes. I also help sew fixes and repairs on worn and torn costumes. For my high school Senior Project, I created four costumes that were worn in two different plays.
Pre-Collegiate Symposium Leader- Cal Poly, SLO

Every year Cal Poly invites hundreds of high school juniors from partner schools to tour Cal Poly for three days. As a PCS Leader, I led a group of fifteen studets through different activities and icebreakers. I was also there to promote achievieng a higher education, since most of the students there are from low-income families.

PIRC Language Lab Monitor- Cal Poly, SLO
January 2015- Present
As a Language Lab Monitor, I provide assistance to foreign language student who uses the lab. I also keep the lab organized once classes are done using it.
P2S Engineering Intern- Long Beach, CA
June 2012- July 2012
When I was a High School Intern for P2S, I shadowed an Electrical Engineer to see what it was like to work for an engineering firm. While there, I learned how to use Google SketchUp and I learned how to communicate with engineering professionals.

As the club secretary, I plan events with the other club officers. Once those plans are finalized, I write and send out emails, and post on social media to notify the club members about our upcoming events. I also write up the minutes when we have officer meetings.
